A welcoming primary school in Thurrock is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 6 Learning Support Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis from asap. This Leanring Support Assistant role i is a fantastic opportunity to work with KS2 pupils and help deliver lessons across the whole curriculum.
The successful Learning Support Assistant in Thurrock will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide students with the tools they need to succeed both academically and socially.

Key Duties - Year 6 LSA - Thurrock
Work as an year 6 LSA in Braintree, providing classroom assistance to year 6 children.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support.
Help students develop communication, social and independent living skills.
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
Work alongside teachers, therapists and parents to promote student progress.
Maintain a safe and structured learning environment.
Requirements - Year 6 LSA - Thurrock
Previous experience working with young people is desirable.
Experience within a year 6 class setting is esential
A patient and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
An interest in Special Educational Needs and education.
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
