Your role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging KS1 lessons
• Establish a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
• Support children's academic, social and emotional development
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour
• Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomes

About you

The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Previous experience teaching within KS1
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• An enthusiastic, creative and flexible approach
• High expectations for learning and behaviour
• A genuine passion for supporting young learners
