We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Controller to join our client's reputable independent automotive business in Oldham. - Manage daily workshop workflow and allocate jobs to technicians based on their expertise
- Supervise and support the workshop team to ensure high standards of work
- Conduct quality control checks on vehicle repairs and servicing
- Support technicians with technical issues and diagnostics as the-Workshop Controller
- Liaise with the Service/Workshop Manager to optimise workshop performance
- Implement health and safety policies and ensure procedures are followed
- Contribute to the development of team members and encourage best practice
- Maintain high levels of customer service and communication as the-Workshop Controller
- Assist in technical training and support for less experienced staff
- Support the continuous improvement of workshop processes
- Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, Master Technician, or similar supervisory role
- Strong technical expertise across various vehicle types, including vans and cars
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage workflow and support team productivity effectively
- Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Exceptional communication skills
- A desire to develop into a management position within the automotive industry
