Job Title:-Water Hygiene Engineer

Location:-South East London

Paying:-£30,000 - £35,000-w/ Van and Fuel Card + Overtime/Call Out

Job Type:-Permanent

We are looking for a-skilled and motivated Water Hygiene Engineer-to join a reputable contractor.You will carry out water hygiene and Legionella control works in line with-ACOP L8, HSG 274-and relevant regulations, helping the client maintain safe and compliant water systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Water temperature monitoring, sampling and system inspections.
• Tank and calorifier inspections.
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks.
• Cleaning and disinfection of water systems.
• Minor remedial plumbing works, including pipework modifications and dead-leg removal.
• Accurate completion of service reports and records.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and customer service.

Requirements

Essential:

• Previous water hygiene/Legionella experience.
• Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Plumbing qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds).
• Legionella/Water Hygiene training.
