Looking for your next opportunity as an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) where your industry knowledge, estimating skills and attention to detail are genuinely valued?

An established and busy bodyshop is looking for an experienced Bodyshop VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator to join their team. Offering a competitive £40,000-£50,000 salary depending on experience, this role would suit someone who is already confident in the VDA position and can manage estimates accurately and efficiently from initial assessment through to vehicle repair.

This is an experienced-level position rather than a trainee opportunity. Previous experience using Autoflow and Audatex would be highly advantageous, along with experience working with manufacturer repair methods and processes.

The Role
As a Bodyshop VDA, you'll be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate estimates and ensuring repairs are planned efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Inspecting damaged vehicles and accurately assessing repair requirements
andmiddot;Producing detailed and accurate repair estimates
andmiddot;Using Audatex to calculate repair costs and labour times
andmiddot;Using Autoflow to manage estimates, repair stages and job progression
andmiddot;Identifying all parts, labour and materials required
andmiddot;Liaising with customers, insurers and relevant parties
andmiddot;Working closely with Panel, MET and Paint Technicians
andmiddot;Ensuring estimates accurately reflect the required repair process
andmiddot;Following manufacturer repair methods and technical procedures
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate records and updating repair systems
andmiddot;Monitoring repair progress and supporting the bodyshop team
andmiddot;Ensuring repairs are completed safely and to the required quality standards

About You
We're looking for an experienced VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor who can confidently manage the estimating process and understands modern accident repair.
You'll ideally have:
andmiddot;Previous VDA experience - essential
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of vehicle accident repair
andmiddot;Experience producing accurate bodyshop estimates
andmiddot;Audatex experience
andmiddot;Autoflow experience
andmiddot;Good understanding of manufacturer repair methods
andmiddot;Experience working with insurers and repair networks
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of Panel, MET and Paint repair processes
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail
andmiddot;Strong communication and organisational skills
andmiddot;Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vehicles
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence

Experience with the relevant vehicle manufacturers/brands would be highly advantageous.
