Setting Out Engineer - Freelance - Central London

TLG Infrastructure are actively recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to join a major cut-and-carve project in Central London.

The project involves the demolition and structural alteration of an existing building, basement excavation and reconstruction, piling and reinforced concrete works, followed by construction of a new 36-storey core using slipform methodology.

Setting Out Engineer responsibilities:

• Provide setting-out information and cut lines for demolition works.

• Carry out accurate as-built surveys of completed works.

• Support demolition, piling and basement construction activities.

• Assist with concrete decking and reinforcement works.

• Interpret drawings and provide engineering information to site teams.

• Work closely with the wider engineering team to support project delivery.

Requirements:

• Previous Setting Out Engineering experience.

• Strong surveying and setting-out skills.

• Experience with demolition, cut-and-carve or reinforced concrete projects is beneficial.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.
