We're recruiting a Senior Laboratory Technician for a manufacturing business in Exeter. You'll manage a team of three and work closely with the Laboratory Manager to keep testing, quality and compliance on track.
What you'll be doing
You'll have experience in a laboratory and knowledge of chemical testing techniques. You'll be organised, confident solving problems and comfortable guiding a small team.
Previous supervisory or manufacturing laboratory experience would be useful but is not essential. Relevant science, chemistry, laboratory or engineering qualifications are also welcome.

- Managing and supporting three laboratory team members
- Planning daily laboratory work and ensuring testing is completed accurately
- Carrying out chemical analysis and investigating technical issues
- Monitoring and interpreting analytical results
- Overseeing environmental and effluent testing
- Maintaining safe working practices and laboratory procedures
- Supporting audits and working with production colleagues
- Improving quality, consistency and efficiency across the laboratory
You'll have experience in a laboratory and knowledge of chemical testing techniques. You'll be organised, confident solving problems and comfortable guiding a small team.
