Job Description
A leading organisation within the Facilities Management and Engineering sector is seeking a Project Manager (Electrical Bias) in Edinburgh. You'll take ownership of projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The Role As the Project Manager (Electrical Bias), you'll:
  • Manage electrical and engineering projects from initial planning through to completion.
  • Lead project teams and oversee contractors and subcontractors.
  • Manage project budgets, programmes and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate plant, equipment, materials and procurement requirements.
  • Produce and review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
  • Oversee testing and commissioning activities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and CDM regulations.
  • Provide regular project updates, highlighting progress, risks and commercial considerations.
You To be successful in the role of Project Manager (Electrical Bias), you'll bring:
  • Proven experience managing Electrical, Engineering or Construction projects.
  • A strong electrical or building services background.
  • Experience managing project budgets and contractor performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation and overseeing testing and commissioning.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Healthcare or industrial project experience would be advantageous.
