M&E Manager - Data Centre | Dublin

£600-£650 per day + Expenses | Contract | Immediate Start

We are currently looking for an experienced M&E Manager / M&E Construction Manager to support a Senior Project Manager on a major data centre project in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on M&E professional with proven experience working within data centres or other mission-critical environments, supporting the Senior PM with the day-to-day delivery and coordination of the project.

The Role

  • Support the Senior Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of M&E works on site.

  • Manage and coordinate M&E contractors and subcontractors.

  • Monitor installation progress, quality and programme against project requirements.

  • Provide hands-on support and oversight across mechanical and electrical works.

  • Identify construction and installation issues and ensure they are addressed effectively.

  • Pay particular attention to ongoing chiller issues and fire-related RCA investigations, ensuring actions and remedial works are properly monitored.

  • Liaise with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.

  • Monitor site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

  • Provide regular updates to the Senior PM on progress, issues and potential risks.

  • Assist in resolving technical and construction issues throughout the project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as an M&E Manager, M&E Construction Manager, Project Manager or similar.

  • Strong experience working on data centre projects is essential.

  • Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical building services.

  • Experience managing and coordinating M&E contractors and subcontractors.

  • Strong understanding of construction, installation, testing and commissioning.

  • Experience identifying and resolving site-based technical and construction issues.

  • Experience with chillers and mechanical systems would be highly advantageous.

  • Strong site management and stakeholder coordination skills.

  • Ability to work closely with and support a Senior Project Manager.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Fluent English is essential.

  • Must be available to work on site in Dublin.
