The Role

• We are looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join an established electrical engineering business delivering installation and electrical infrastructure projects across industrial and renewable energy environments.
• This is a hands-on installation-focused role, suited to electricians who are comfortable working in demanding industrial environments and who take pride in delivering high-quality, compliant electrical installations.
• The role will involve working as part of a skilled site team, carrying out electrical installation, testing, commissioning and associated works across a range of industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial electrical installation work to a high standard.
• Install and terminate electrical equipment, containment, cabling and associated systems.
• Work from electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations.
• Identify and resolve installation issues on site.
• Assist with commissioning and fault-finding activities where required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations, specifications and project requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician with relevant industrial electrical experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent recognised inspection and testing qualification.
• Demonstrable experience working on industrial electrical installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and safe working practices.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable working on active construction, industrial or renewable energy sites.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within renewable energy, utilities, energy infrastructure or large industrial projects.
• Experience with HV/LV electrical systems.
• Experience of commissioning and electrical testing.
• Additional electrical qualifications or site competencies.
• Experience working within structured permit-to-work and electrical safety systems.
