Graduate Cover Supervisor - Trafford

We are recruiting enthusiastic graduates for flexible day-to-day supply work as Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in Trafford.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Lead classes in the absence of the teacher
• Deliver pre-planned lessons
• Use provided resources to support learning
• Manage classroom behaviour
• Encourage independent study and pupil engagement
• Provide learning and pastoral support
• Complete a handover to the class teacher

Working hours are typically 8.20am to 3.20pm, Monday to Friday, with flexible ad hoc work available.

We welcome graduates with experience in schools, sports coaching, youth work, drama, theatre, children's clubs, summer camps, PGL, Scouts, Guides or other activities involving young people.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least six weeks' experience working with groups of children or teenagers within the last three years
• A referee who can verify your experience
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS and professional references
• Ability to travel to schools at short notice
