General Foreman - Highways Scheme

Rate: £(Apply online only) per day - CIS or Ltd company available
Duration: 6 months, rolling

About the Role:

Are you a General Foreman with a highways background looking for your next role?
We're looking for an experienced General Foreman to join a highways scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience on National Highways and local authority projects to lead the site workforce.
You'll run the site gangs and subcontractors on a mixture of day and night shifts, making sure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

andmiddot;Supervising and coordinating site gangs, plant and subcontractors.
andmiddot;Delivering highways works for National Highways and local authority clients.
andmiddot;Working a mixture of day and night shifts, including possessions and traffic management.
andmiddot;Briefing RAMS and making sure safe systems of work are followed.
andmiddot;Completing daily records, permits and allocation sheets.
andmiddot;Working closely with the Agent and engineers to deliver works to programme.

Essential Requirements:

andmiddot;Proven experience as a General Foreman on highways schemes.
andmiddot;A background on National Highways and local authority projects.
andmiddot;Willing to work a mixture of days and nights.
andmiddot;SMSTS
andmiddot;CSCS (Gold or above)
andmiddot;First Aid
