Are you a confident GCSE Maths Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible work?

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Maths specialist to provide 1:1 tuition to learners across Sefton. The role would be ideal for someone who enjoys helping learners overcome gaps in their knowledge and develop greater confidence in Maths.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured 1:1 GCSE Maths tuition
Identify gaps in knowledge and target areas for development
Plan engaging and accessible lessons
Adapt explanations to suit individual learning styles
Prepare learners for GCSE assessments where appropriate
Track progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements
Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Maths
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience working with secondary-aged learners
Ability to build positive relationships with young people
QTS, PGCE or relevant teaching/tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
