Salary: -90 - -120 per day (depending on experience)

Veritas Education are currently recruiting Unqualified Cover Supervisors to work within secondary schools across Lancaster and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, and individuals with transferable skills who are looking to gain valuable experience in education.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and classroom activities
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Ensure students remain engaged and on task
• Support a positive and productive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence leading groups of young people
• Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional attitude
• A passion for education and helping students succeed

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• References covering the previous 2 years
