About the firm

The firm that we are actively seeking to recruit for is a global firm with a strong local presence across the south coast and in London as well as having a vast presence across the Americas and Asia. The firm has a emphasis on completing challenging high value work rather than high volume work while also valuing and encouraging a healthy work-life balance and building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

The Role


The role will include assisting and advising on all areas of company law, private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and MBOs and MBIs, joint ventures and investor/shareholders' agreements, articles of association and other constitutional documents, demergers, company reconstructions and reorganisations. Additionally there is the opportunity to be involved with AIM flotations, takeovers and other public company work, commercial lending and security, financing and refinancing of businesses,

The corporate team with in the firm acts for acquirers, private equity and VCT funds, founders/sellers, management teams and funders. Throughout this specific branch's existence, the team has been involved in the more prominent deals in the Solent and Thames Valley region. The role would suit a candidate relocating to the region, an ambitious practitioner looking to move laterally from a national/large regional firm or an able candidate looking to work for a larger firm doing larger transactions.

The Candidate

- Admissions to the Solicitor Roll
- 2:1 Degree or higher preferred
- Candidates should have between 1 to 3 years PQE of working in a corporate team
- We are seeking applicants who are confident in dealing with the full range of corporate processes
- We are seeking a good team player who is equally as ambitious.
