Acoustic Consultant

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

My client, a well-established acoustics consultancy, is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 2 to 5 years of experience in acoustics to work on a diverse range of projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their technical expertise, contribute to a variety of exciting projects and progress their career within a supportive and flexible working environment. This role offers a varied workload, with exposure to environmental noise, vibration and room acoustics, alongside opportunities to strengthen existing skills and broaden professional experience.

Duties of the Acoustic Consultant include:

• Undertaking Environmental Noise and Vibration Surveys
• Preparing Technical Reports for Planning and Design Projects
• Using Odeon and Similar Room Acoustics Software
• Carrying Out Acoustic Assessments and Providing Practical Recommendations
• Contributing to the Successful Delivery of Projects and Maintaining High Standards of Technical Reporting.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Acoustics, Physics or Audio Related Degree (or IOA Diploma)
• 2 - 5 Years of Experience in Acoustics
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience with air quality assessments and IAQM membership would be advantageous but not required to apply.
